Cloud Security: Designing for the Future
I have completed the course Cloud Security, however I’m excited to move on to Linux Security. This course was a great introduction to the world of cloud computing and security. I learned a lot about different cloud service providers (CSPs), their services, and how to set up and configure AWS accounts.
One of the most valuable skills I acquired was hands-on experience with virtualization. I learned how to create and manage virtual machines, which is a fundamental skill for anyone working with cloud infrastructure. Additionally, I gained a deep understanding of cloud security best practices, including the least privilege model and the use of GPOs.
Another important topic covered in this course was Software-Defined Networking (SDN). I learned how SDN can be used to automate and manage network configurations, improving efficiency and security.
While Cloud Security was challenging at times, I’m proud of the progress I’ve made and the knowledge I’ve gained. I’m eager to apply these skills in my next course, Linux Security, and continue my journey as a cybersecurity professional.
